The damGinger Pop
Ginger Pop truly lives up to her name, she is small but mighty and a little spicy! This Luidam daughter proved her potential at a young age. She was Vice World Champion as a five-year-old at the FEI WBFSH Jumping World Breeding Championship for Young Horses with Angelica Augustsson Zanotelli. After an outstanding young-horse career that also included winning the Irish Sport Horse Studbook Final and the five-year-old championship at the Dublin Horse Show. She returned to the World Championship final as a six-year-old with Marlon Modolo Zanotelli and later developed into an international Grand Prix performer, competing up to 1.60m level with Alison Robitaille (USA). Ginger Pop’s pedigree combines two of Ireland’s most influential showjumping bloodlines: Luidam, a Grand Prix and Nations Cup winner with Billy Twomey, and Cruising through her dam Derrylea Greylady. Ginger Pop has also proven her value as a broodmare, producing an Ashford Farm homebred jumper: De La Pop AF Z (by Diamant de Semilly) who is currently rising the ranks up to 1.45m level with Ailish Cunniffe).
The sireUnited Touch S
Complementing this powerful damline is United Touch S. With Richard Vogel, he has established himself among the very best horses in the sport. With numerous highlights in his career, with in the past two years alone, United Touch S claimed European individual gold, World Championship team gold and earned victories in the World Cup of Basel and the Rolex Grands Prix of ’s-Hertogenbosch and Aachen. United Touch S is by Untouched, a son of Untouchable, while his dam Touch of Class is by Lux Z. Further back appears the legendary Classic Touch, individual Olympic Champion with Ludger Beerbaum. United Touch S is also becoming increasingly important in breeding, with the offspring from his first crops now breaking into 1.60m international level and several stallions earning licensed status. By combining his extraordinary scope, athleticism and championship mentality with Clintina 8’s proven sport family, this embryo brings together two complementary sources of modern performance genetics.
